Rosa
Rosa takes care of the house while we are at work each day and she prepares the wonderful meals that we enjoy each evening. Muchas gracias Rosa!
Oso finds shade by the house
Oso is being treated for mange, but stayed by our side the entire week. As the walls went up he found more opportunities for shade and was also effective at keeping Bobo off the rock piles.
Rear view of the house on the last work day
Many of the vertical columns have been poured with concrete around the rebar and electrical cables and conduits are visible in the interior.

Feliz cumpleanos Kristen, Christi, Krystal, Cliff
Gracias Martha for this beautiful happy birthday song for Kristen.
Alexi, our friend from last year's trip
Alexi is the father of 4 daughters. Team 2 built a home for him and his wife and family last year (2014) in El Tambor. Alexi is now working for NCBM to help construct the new buildings at Monte Horeb. He rides his bicycle an hour each way to travel the 6 miles from his home to the Monte Horeb mission camp for 6 days each week. He said he was very happy when he saw that some of us from last year were back to work with him this year and he remembered each of us by name.
Washing their feet
As an act of service and dedication, and following the instruction and example of Jesus Christ, we washed the feet of all the Honduran brothers and sisters who worked with us, and of Mike and Ginger Greene, the NC Baptist Men missionaries who will be the initial occupants of the home we are building.
Laying the last wall
Mike had a hand in laying the first block and last block. This last interior wall was a short one so Dennis got to lay the entire wall without a string.
Keith - a man of multiple skills
Since most of the block laying was complete after day 4, Keith moved on to carpentry work to install the window frames.
Cliff, the new guy
Kristen is a veteran of 9 trip to Honduras over 11 years, but since she was the only female this year we decided it would just be easier if she became "Cliff, the new guy".
Gentle Giants
Steve Paschall and Dudley Neal, both former Army Chaplains provided care, genuine compassion, and spiritual leadership throughout the trip, not to mention construction skills and energy.

The Journey
After lunch and devotion each day, we walk back up the hill to the work site, full in body and spirit.
Game Interrupted
After two hits and scoring two runs, Bob took a tumble on his way to first base so the game was interrupted. Our Honduran friends got him into a chair. We knew he was OK when he waved to us and started telling the Hondurans about when he was in the military. Stories about his sister will come later.

Water brings life to the ministry
The well drillers began the process of digging a well on the Mount Horeb site today. There is a beautiful stream that runs through the back of the camp and we prayed that the well drillers would find water to provide life to the ministries at Mount Horeb.
